Kangaroo Care Workshops

Also known as skin-to-skin care, we teach you, a new mother, how to bond with your baby. The suggested way at these workshops is for mother and baby to maintain skin-to-skin contact. This closeness assures not just a physical bond of warmth but a mental one too.

Photo Studio with Complementary Stills

We know how important motherhood is to you. To celebrate these special moments in your life, we organize a special photoshoot of you before childbirth so that you can treasure these moments for years and years.

Baby Shower Service

We organize a baby shower for a group of mothers-to-be as a fun-filled day of activities in a party atmosphere. Parents-to-be are treated very specially on this day as they will soon embark on their journey of parenthood. Fathers learn to hold a baby, change diapers, calm a crying baby, etc.

Lamaze

Lamaze is a technique for easing the birthing process by teaching pregnant women pain management methods. At Kauvery Hospitals, these classes are held by a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE), and go on for about an hour. They span about six to eight weeks.

Pregnant women learn to breathe rhythmically to remove their focus from their contractions. They also learn the best positions for birth, when to go to the hospital, ways to make labor comfortable, etc.

Yoga Sessions

Pregnant women are given prenatal yoga sessions. Here, they learn to breathe naturally and relax. These sessions also provide relief from an aching lower back and reducechildbirth-related anxiety. Women who suffer from nausea, headaches, shortness of breath, etc., learn to cope better with yoga.

Stem-cell Banking Facility

We are one of the hospitals in India to offer stem-cell banking. By this, we take stem cells from the umbilical cord and bone marrow. These can be used grown and made into specialized cells for use in therapies in the future.

Blood Storage Unit

We have a state-of-the-art blood storage facility. It can store whole blood and packed red cells, fresh frozen plasma, platelets, etc. Our vast repository of common blood groups is used in emergencies during surgeries, childbirth, and other trauma-type surgeries.

Our ultra-modern unit stores and disposes of blood conveniently and quickly. The unit is managed by qualified staff who ensure the highest levels of quality and hygiene.
